Dr. Miguel A. Martinez is a urologist with more than 35 years of clinical practice. A graduate of Yale University School of Medicine, he completed his transitional internship at LAC+USC Medical Center and his urology residency at White Memorial Medical Center, and has been in continuous practice since 1989. As GTX's Medical Director, he designs and oversees every protocol — pairing the depth of urology training with modern hormone medicine. Fluent in English and Spanish, with published work in The American Journal of Medicine on engaging Latino and African American patients with BPH. Affiliated with Adventist Health White Memorial.

Enrollment is completed on our secure, HIPAA-compliant patient platform (Elation Health). The enrollment page is operated under MCM Family Enterprises Inc, the parent company of GTX Therapy. After you enroll, you will receive your intake and consent forms by email from Elation to complete and sign before your first video visit.
One flat, affordable monthly membership covers your physician evaluation, protocol design, ongoing oversight, prescriptions sent to our partner pharmacy, secure messaging with the practice, and up to three calls with Dr. Martinez per month, Monday through Friday during normal business hours. There are no long-term contracts. As a founding-member promotion, the initiation fee is waived for everyone who joins by December 31, 2026 — and if you were referred, entering your code at signup earns a credit for the member who referred you.
Labs are not included in your membership — you get them on your own, through whichever source you prefer. Your physician needs a hormone panel (total and free testosterone, FSH, LH, prolactin, estradiol, PSA) plus a general panel (chemistry, CBC, lipids, liver function, hematocrit). Three common ways: (1) if you have bloodwork from the last 90 days, send it to us and we'll use it. (2) Your own physician can order labs through your insurance. (3) If you'd like an easy option, we recommend Function Health — a $365/year membership that includes the two annual lab draws required for your prescription, covering 130+ biomarkers, drawn at 2,000+ locations nationwide. Signing up through our link takes $25 off. Function Health is a recommendation, not a requirement.

Yes. We prescribe FDA-approved medications, dispensed by licensed pharmacies under physician supervision. We will walk you through each medication during your consult, and we don't prescribe anything without clear clinical rationale and informed consent.
No. GTX operates as a direct-pay practice built to stay affordable. Your monthly membership includes physician oversight, prescriptions, and care. Labs are not included and are handled separately — see "How do labs work?" above.
